The voice that soothed my nerves, was the voice I fell in love with. Raspy in the morning and smooth in the afternoon. She sang like a bird flying through a storm, powerful yet controllable. Her voice was unique to her and I wanted the world to hear it.
Though many heard the voice, only I was soothed by it. When her notes hit my ears, my face glistened while every muscle in my body relaxed itself. What killed me was the vibrato as firm as stone. The notes where inconsistent yet beautiful like the ocean’s waves. Running over me at any given moment. This voice was so bold it could murder yet it remained harmless, it soothed me so.
